                                The Hope Learning Center

 

Description: The Hope Learning Center is the learning center for children living in our orphanages (Harvest Refuge Homes), and those children living within the community of the church. The center will provide learning opportunities to our orphans and children.

 

Beneficiaries: The direct beneficiaries of this project will be the orphans of the Harvest Refuge Home and those living within the community of the church. The target of the project is the reach 150 children.

 

Purpose: The key purpose of the Hope Learning Center will provide and cultivate learning opportunities in the life of orphans and children. At the Hope Learning Center the orphans and children will be taught their primary or secular lessons, the bible, computer skills, type writing skills, sewing, Tie N Dye, arts (drawing, painting), singing and dancing. They will be taught the christian life, learn how to pray and involve in the life of the church.

EXPLAINATION

 

The Hope Learing Center is currently under operation with 87 children. Our target is to reach 150 children. These children go hungry without food or care for days. To begin the feeding program, we are praying for the initial cost of LD $12,500.00 (approx. $900.00 USD)

Gle-A-Yeamue means No Child Left Behind

               "Come Let Us Go"

 

Description: The Gle-A-yeamue Scholarship Fund will afford the orphans of the Harvest Refuge Homes the opportunity to go to school and give them the chance to education. Presently 85% of our orphans and children of the Sure Foundation Children Ministry are unable to be in school for the lack of tuition/fees. Many orphans and children who are not supported by Sure and Firm Foundation are in the streets during common trade for people to survile. They sleep in streets corner, abandon buildings, soccer fields, and church yards since they have no where to sleep. They are left alone to grow up in the streets without no care and support.

 

Purpose: The chief  aim of the Gle-A-Yeamue Scholarship Fund is to give the orphans of the Harvest Refuge Homes the chance to education. these children have no parents and if there is any relatives they do not want to identify themselves because they do not have no means to support. In relation to the above, the children who are members of the church can not afford tuition, thus we seek partners so as to give them to chance to learning with any gift of sponsorship receive.

The facilatators of the Gle-A-yeamue Scholarship Fund are hopefully preparing for the forth coming school year. Next year (2009) the program seeks to enroll more students in order to give all of its orphans a chance of entering the classroom. It is our aim to provide holistic ministry to the orphans at the Harvest Refuge Homes.

 

Our Sponsor-A-Child Program provides opportunities to individuals and groups to minister to the Liberian orphans and many under priviledge children who can not afford food, clothes, medical care and education. Currently, the cost of sending a child to school, that is to provide tuition and supplies per year is LD $6,000.00 approximately $120.00 USD.

 

The Sponsor-A-Child Program is our way of providing families, individuals, churches and groups the opportunity to minister to the whole child (body, mind and soul) by providing financial assistance to enroll and suppor students and orphans.

 

SPONSORING A CHILD

 

When you Sponsor-A-Child by donating USD $25.00 a month you will be giving the following :

1. The ability to hear the gospel.

2. The opportunity to receive an education (including books, uniform and tuition).

3. The means to eat at least two meals a day.

4. The ability to receive two medical check up a year.

5. The need to be loved, care for and not lonely.

6. The need to find a friend in Jesus.

 

SURE and FIRM FOUNDATIONS and the HARVEST REFUGE HOMES are designed to rescue, help and support hundreds of orphans, children and youth in Liberia, Ghana (on the Buduburam Refugee Camp), and Togo from a life of poverty, hopelessness, homeless beginning and abandonment by providing them with safe drinking water, food, clothes, an education and most of all the love of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
